How to Apply

• Deadline and submission: deliver hard copies to The Managing Director, Kenya Railways, Tender Box Block C Reception, Nairobi, by 26 June 2026 at 10:00 (document KR/SCM/111/2025-2026); electronic submissions are not permitted (as per the tender document).
• Submission method and packaging: single sealed envelope/package containing an “ORIGINAL” tender and a separate “COPIES” set; include any applicable “ALTERNATIVE” tender envelopes if permitted (document references internal packaging rules).
• Documents to submit: Form of Tender and Price Schedules from Section IV; Tender Security or Tender-Securing Declaration; Joint Venture documents if applicable; Manufacturer Authorization if required; tax clearance; country-of-origin declarations; conformity and eligibility evidence; other documents listed in ITT 10.
• Pre-qualification and registrations: provide evidence of tax clearance; comply with JV and eligibility requirements; where required, provide Manufacturer Authorization or Kenyan representation for maintenance/parts.
• Access to documents: tender documents may be viewed/downloaded from the specified Kenya Railways and government tender portals; clarify/addenda through the same channels. Addendum 1 exists for this tender.
• Briefing and clarifications: if a pre-tender meeting is held, details will be in the tender data and minutes/postings; written clarifications may be requested and answered in writing.
• Where to obtain updates: monitor the issuing entity’s portal and addenda notices for changes to requirements or deadlines (refer to the attached KR/SCM/111 document and ADDENDUM 1).
