Overview

Procurement of HDPE pipe and elbow materials and their delivery to Johannesburg Water (Ennerdale, Johannesburg). Bidders with HDPE piping supply capability, ISO/SABS conformity, and manufacturer datasheets should consider bidding. Requirements

• Datasheets and brand names for all items (datasheet is compulsory; manufacture datasheets required). Sample may be requested for unfamiliar items.
• Mandatory documents: Original tax clearance, BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, municipal rates clearance (not in arrears >90 days), MBD 4, MBD 8, MBD 9, MBD 6.1, proof of CSD registration, company registration docs with directors’ IDs.
• No bid from parties in the service of the state; no blacklisted bidders.
• Quotations must be PDFs on company letterhead; 60-day validity; joint venture agreements if applicable.
• Preference: PPPFA 2022; 80/20 price-to-specific-goals split, with 20 points for specific goals (SMME 51% black-owned; BBBEE proof required).
• Compliance checks: Provide CSD supplier number, lease/m municipal statement where applicable, and complete all attached MBD forms.
