Overview

• The tender is for the supply and delivery of Rice to Machakos Teachers College for 2026/2027. It is an Open National Tender; bidders may bid for one or more lots; AGPO-registered firms and SMEs are eligible (with evidence).

Requirements

• Open competitive tender; AGPO registration (for Disability, Youth or Women owned enterprises) with copy of registration.
• Evidence of eligibility: tax clearance certificate; not debarred; no conflicts of interest; certificate of independent tender determination.
• Tender security or tender-securing declaration as specified in the Tender Documents.
• Manufacturer authorization if the tenderer does not manufacture the goods itself.
• Conformity with the Schedule of Requirements and ability to provide related services (maintenance, spare parts) as applicable.

How to Apply

• Submission deadline: 20 July 2026 at 10:30 a.m. (see Supply & Delivery of Rice). Tenders must be delivered in plain sealed envelopes to Machakos Teachers College Boardroom; electronic submissions are not permitted.
• Submission method: hand delivery to the Senior Principal, in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the tender reference and description (MATECO/OT/2/2026/2027).
• Documents to submit: Form of Tender; Price Schedules; Tender Security or Tender Securing Declaration; Manufacturer Authorization (if required); JV documentation if applicable; evidence of AGPO status and tax clearance; eligibility documentation; conformity of goods to technical specs.
• Registrations/pre-qualifications: AGPO registration; tax clearance; (where applicable) proof of Manufacturer Authorization; JV Agreement if bidding as a joint venture.
• Briefing/clarifications: If a pre-tender conference is specified in the TDS, details will be provided; clarifications follow ITT procedures.
