Overview

Supply & delivery of sequencing analysis and identification of bacterial samples. ARC seeks quotes from qualified molecular biology/microbiology service providers to perform 16S rRNA sequencing for identifying 5 pure bacterial plate cultures and bidirectional sequencing of PCR products for 5 samples, including DNA extraction, PCR, full-service sequencing, and a detailed report. Deliverable services to ARC Institute at Stellenbosch; pick-up/delivery cost included.

Requirements

• Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and include the CSD registration number and full CSD report.
• Submit completed Standard Bidding Documents (SBD) forms included in the bid document.
• Claim specific procurement goals (HDI ownership, women, youth, PwD, BEE status, SMME promotion) with supporting documentation; points allocated as per the 80/20 framework.
• Provide warranty/guarantee details and documentation of relevant service experience.
• Prices must be in ZAR, VAT inclusive; quotations on official letterhead and signed; delivery date specified; ARC may conduct due diligence and benchmark prices.
