Overview

Johannesburg Water seeks the supply and delivery of tool shovels (ROUND NOSE OPEN SOCKET 230MM WIDTH x 600MM LENGTH, steel shaft, varnished wooden handle). Suppliers of hardware/tools should bid, especially SMMEs that are 51% or more black-owned. The RFQ follows the PPPFA framework (80/20 or 90/10) with specific goals, and requires data sheets and brand names.

Requirements

• Datasheet for each item is compulsory; attach manufacturer datasheets and brand names.
• Full completion of BOQ/spec (where applicable) and attachment of reference letters, proof of certification/accreditation, and functionality requirements (where applicable).
• Quotes must be on company letterheads; no RFQ from state service providers; not blacklisted.
• Mandatory documents: Tax clearance, BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, CSD supplier number, lease or municipal account not older than 3 months (and not in arrears >90 days).
• Complete MBD forms: Declaration of Interest (MBD 4), Past SCM practices (MBD 8), Independent Bid Determination (MBD 9), Preference points claim (MBD 6.1).
• Ensure compliance with Johannesburg Water’s Supply Chain Policy and POPIA-related disclosures as provided.
