Overview

Supply and delivery of tool straight pipe wrench, pliers, trowel and blades to Johannesburg Water. Open to suppliers of plumbing tools; datasheet is compulsory and brand/manufacturer details must be provided. Items include various pipe wrenches (250–600 mm), water-pump pliers, a plastering trowel and a hacksaw blade; SANS 1028 compliant where stated. Specific goal favors SMMEs (51%+ black owned). Bid must be submitted before 16 July 2026 at 12:00 and comply with 60-day validity.

Requirements

• Datasheet for each item is compulsory; provide manufacturer datasheets and brand names.
• Quotations must be on company letterhead; PDFs only; include brand names where required.
• Must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and provide supplier number.
• Returnable documents: Original valid Tax Clearance, BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, municipal rates not older than 90 days, MBD 4, MBD 8, MBD 9, MBD 6.1, and company registration documents with director IDs.
• No RFQ from persons in state service; no blacklisted bidders.
• Proof of lease or municipal account not older than 3 months and not in areas away >90 days.
• Items must conform to listed specifications (e.g., SANS 1028 where applicable); samples may be requested; datasheets required for unfamiliar items.

How to Apply

• Submit via the E-tender Portal: login with CSD credentials, select Johannesburg Water, attach compulsory documents, and proceed (see attached RFQ for checklist) (6000080578).
• Submission deadline: 16 July 2026, 12:00.
• Documents to submit (as per Administrative Requirements): Tax clearance, BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, municipal rates, MBD forms (4, 8, 9, 6.1), proof of CSD registration, lease or municipal statement, company registration docs, and any joint venture agreements if applicable.
• Briefing/site briefing: attendance may be compulsory; briefing held at 2 James Street, Ennerdale, Johannesburg 1830.
