SUPPLY, DELIVERY, OFF LOADING AND NEATLY PACKING OF FENCING MATERIAL TO VARIOUS DISTRICTS WITHIN THE WESTERN CAPE PROVINCE

Overview

• The Western Cape Department of Agriculture seeks a supplier to supply, deliver, off-load and neatly pack fencing material to various districts within the Western Cape Province. Bidders should have fencing-material supply, logistics and packing capabilities to service farms across rural districts and meet public-procurement compliance (tax, registrations, and BBBEE requirements).

Requirements

• Tax and registration compliance:
  • Submit SARS PIN or Tax Clearance (TCS) and, if applicable, a CSD number.
• Official bid documentation:
  • Complete and sign WCBD 1, WCBD 3, WCBD 4, WCBD 6.1; ensure all fields are current.
• Supplier registrations and BBBEE:
  • Register on the Central Supplier Database (CSD); provide B-BBEE status certificate or sworn affidavit (SANAS where applicable).
  • Consider WCSEB/ePS registration as required.
• Pricing and delivery:
  • Complete the Pricing Schedule (WCBD 3.1) with delivery costs included; indicate delivery period and whether delivery is firm.
• Eligibility and conduct:
  • Not currently in the state’s service; disclose related interests; comply with anti-corruption and SCM rules.
• Additional: Bidder must be able to deliver to the specified delivery addresses and sign a WCBD 7 contract if shortlisted.
