Overview

Supply, delivery and offload of wooden utility poles for a 1-year period. Bidders should be suppliers experienced in providing wooden utility poles and able to deliver and offload to Swellendam (delivery location: 11 Lind Street). Evaluation follows the municipality’s Preferential Procurement Policy (80/20) with no obligation to accept the lowest bid (see SMQ21-26-27_Advert.pdf).

Requirements

• Sealed quotations submitted in the Municipal Quotation Box by 11:00 on 02 October 2026 (see SMQ21-26-27_Advert.pdf)
• Submissions must be on prescribed documents and include a valid Tax Compliance Status PIN (see SMQ21-26-27_Advert.pdf)
• Quotations must remain valid for 60 days from closing date (see SMQ21-26-27_Advert.pdf)
• Late, email or facsimile submissions will not be considered (see SMQ21-26-27_Advert.pdf)
• Quotation box is accessible 24/7; inquiries must be in writing and last two days before closing are excluded (see SMQ21-26-27_Advert.pdf)

• Submit in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the quotation number and description to the Municipal Quotation Box before 11:00 on 02 October 2026 (see SMQ21-26-27_Advert.pdf)
