Overview

Johannesburg Water invites quotes for the supply and delivery of tool discs and sewer drain rods. Suitable bidders include hardware/tools suppliers, with emphasis on SMMEs that are 51% or more black-owned, able to provide brand-name items with datasheets (datasheet compulsory), and compliant with PPPFA preferences.

Delivery location: Ennerdale, Johannesburg. The Special Condition requires datasheets for all items.

Requirements

• Mandatory documentation and certifications (returnable documents):
  • Original valid Tax Clearance; BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; municipal rates not in arrears; company registration documents with IDs; MBD 4, MBD 6.1, MBD 8, MBD 9; CSD supplier number.
• Brand names and manufacture datasheets for all items; samples if items are unfamiliar.
• Quotations must be on company letterhead; include all taxes; no post-closing submissions.
• Compliance: not in the state’s service, not blacklisted, and pass supply chain integrity checks.
• Pricing and goals: bids evaluated on 80/20 or 90/10 preference system; specific goal: SMME 51% black-owned receives 80 points.
• Items include tool discs (cutting steel EN 12413) and sewer drain rods; ensure datasheets and brand names are provided (see attached RFQ document).
• Samples may be requested; data privacy provisions apply.
