Overview

Procurement of the supply, installation and commissioning of a 100 kVA diesel generator on a concrete plinth with a security enclosure at Hekpoort and Britskop Radio Stations. Open to electrical, civil and mechanical contractors with NEC3 ECSC experience and a CIDB grading of 5EP or higher; bidders must meet local content, tax, and registration requirements and provide all returnables as specified.

Requirements

• CIDB grading: 5EP or higher.
• Eligibility and registrations: valid CSD registration; SARS tax clearance; local and/or foreign supplier compliance as applicable.
• Compliance documents: SBD 1, 4, 6.1, 6.2; Annexures A–J; Integrity Pact, SDL&I, COIDA/SA health and safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
• Technical and financial returnables: electronic tender in PDF + Excel; NEC3 contract; Completed BOQ (PDF & Excel); local content declarations; accident/insurance documentation; audited financials if required.
• Evaluation: functionality scoring with minimum threshold of 70% (criteria include execution plan, company background, project programme, and key personnel CVs).
• Site access and process: compulsory site clarification meetings; respond to queries via specified NTCSA contacts; no alternative tenders allowed.
• Procurement rules: e-tender submission only; no hard copies; late submissions disqualified; cataloguing and potential provisional sums (as per BOQ) may apply.

How to Apply

• Site clarification (compulsory): 23 July 2026 at Hekpoort, then Britskop; attendance at both is mandatory. Confirm attendance with the NTCSA Representative (name and contact in the ITT).
• Clarifications and addenda: monitor ITT portals for addenda; Addendum 1 extends the closing date (document Addendum 1 Enquiry No E3215NTCSAMWP).
• Submission: electronically via NTCSA Eskom E-tendering portal; folder structure includes Technical, Commercial, Financial, SHEQ, SDL&I, etc. Files must be PDFs and Excel, max 50 MB per file; total ≤ 900 MB; no zip uploads; no hard copy accepted.
• Documents to submit (from ITT and attached BOQ):
