Overview

Procurement of supply, install, service, repairs and delivery of air-conditioning units for Sundays River Valley Municipality. Bids are for HVAC supply/installation/maintenance under SRVM-RFQ 04/2027. Bidders should be qualified HVAC suppliers/installers with experience in installation and ongoing service, able to deliver across the municipality’s locations and compliant with SA tax and procurement rules (e.g., CSD, TCS, BBBEE, and VAT).

Requirements

• Valid Tax Clearance Certificate or SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN; where no TCS available, provide CSD number.
• B-BBEE documentation: either original/certified B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit.
• Completed MBD returnables: MBD 1, 4, 6.1, 8 and 9; resolution to sign.
• Company documentation: original/certified IDs of directors, company/registrations, municipal rates/billing clearance or lease agreement.
• Proof of Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration (full report printed) or equivalent TCS.
• Evidence of local content where applicable and related declarations (if the tender falls in a designated sector).
• Prices must be firm, VAT inclusive; delivery period must be stated; price validity for at least 90 days.
• Sectional specifics: conform to the supplied specification and installation/maintenance scope (as per attached specification).

How to Apply

• Submission deadline: 09 October 2026 at 12:00; late bids not accepted. (See SRVM RFQ documents.)
• Submit by sealed bid in the Bid Box at Sundays River Valley Municipality, Supply Chain Office, 23 Middle Street, Kirkwood 6120; reference the bid number and description.
• Documents to complete/submit: MBD 1, 4, 6.1, 8, 9; tax compliance details; BBBEE, IDs, registration documents, municipal clearance, and CSD printout. (Specific forms and documents are listed in the attached tender package.)
• Bid documents can be downloaded from the Sundays River Valley Municipality website or E-tender site; contact SCM for hard copies or queries.
• Contract: successful bidder will sign MBD7 contract form; Section C contains the contract framework.
