Overview

Supply & installation of antivirus, cloud backup and patch management software licenses for a 12-month period. Suitable bidders are ICT security software providers with proven delivery capability, registered on the National Treasury’s Central Supplier Database (CSD) or able to provide the CSD supplier number, and able to complete the required MBD forms and compliance documentation. Responses must meet mandatory criteria and the 80/20 PPPFA evaluation (Price 80, Specific goals 20).

Requirements

• Must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (or provide CSD number) and supply proof or summary of registration.
• Complete and submit MBD 4, MBD 6.1, MBD 7.1, MBD 8, and MBD 9 forms (and declarations) appended to the notice.
• Meet all minimum compliance requirements and mandatory requirements (section 8 of terms of reference).
• Provide proof of two ICT security software license projects in the last five years with combined value at least R200,000.
• Provide proof of no municipal arrears for the bidder and for its directors (options include municipal statements, debt clearance certificates, or lease confirmations).
• Prices must be VAT-inclusive; no Tippex; quotations must be sealed and fully completed.
• Quotations must be submitted in hard copy only; emailed quotations are not accepted.
• Valid for 90 days from closing date; BCMDA may request additional information.
• Evidence of not being in service of the state, and related conflict-of-interest declarations, are required.
• Specific goals (e.g., B-BBEE status and local ownership) must be supported with appropriate documentation (see MBD 6.1).
