SUPPLY, INSTALLATION, SERVICE, REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT OF AIR CONDITIONERS IN THE SWELLENDAM MUNICIPALITY FOR A 3-YEAR PERIOD

Overview

Supply, installation, service, repair and replacement of air conditioners in the Swellendam Municipality for a 3-year period. Bidders with HVAC installation/maintenance capabilities and the required safety certifications are invited to bid.

Requirements

• Safe gas-handling certification for working with refrigerants from an accredited training facility; at least one employee must be certified.
• Valid trade certificates for technicians as prescribed by SARACCA and SAQCC Gas.
• Company or personnel in full-time employment must have 2+ years' experience in installation, repair and service of air conditioners; bidder to complete the schedule of experience.
• Tax Compliance Status PIN must be referenced/ included with bid submission (SARS).
• Bids must be submitted on prescribed tender documents, in a sealed envelope clearly marked with tender number and description; include deposit of R759.20; the tender box is open 24/7; late bids not considered.
• Tender validity period: 150 days.
• Evaluation will be on an 80/20 preferential system; Council may accept full or part; non-response to supplementary information may render bid non-responsive.
