Overview

Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of 1no. Backup and Replication Software License, 1no. Storage Server, 1no. Data Center Monitoring and Trouble Shooting Workstation and Remote Monitoring Device and 4no. External Backup Drives. Open to eligible bidders; procurement is for IT infrastructure and software related to data-centre backup, storage, monitoring and remote management under a World Bank–funded project. Suitable for IT hardware/software integrators, data-centre equipment suppliers and service providers with national footprint in Kenya.

Requirements

• Eligibility to bid under World Bank IPF financing; compliance with Bank anti-corruption and sanction rules.
• Bid security of Ksh 650,000 (or approved alternative) valid for 28 days beyond bid validity.
• Conformity and eligibility of goods; bidders must provide origin declarations and evidence of meeting technical specs (Section VII) and complete all listed bid documents (Letter of Bid, Price Schedules, qualifications, eligibility, etc.).
• If applicable, Manufacturer Authorization and Joint Venture arrangements, or Letter of Intent to form a JV, with a representative authorized to bind the JV.
• Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form to be disclosed with the award notice.
• Bids submitted in hard copy by 1100 Hrs EAT on 5 November 2026; no electronic bidding.
• Procurement follows standard ITB/DS (one-envelope bids) with standstill period and evaluation to determine Most Advantageous Bid (lowest evaluated cost).
