Overview

Supply, Installation, Testing, and Commissioning of the Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL-487E) Protection Scheme for the 20 MVA 66/11 kV Transformer No. 3 at Unitra Substation, including H-Frame and LV Bus Support, for a six-month period. Accredited electrical contractors with CIDB grading 5EP or higher, experienced in protection schemes and associated HV/LV bus works, are invited to bid. Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and adhere to PPPFA rules.

Requirements

• CIDB grading: 5EP or higher.
• CIDB and CSD pre-qualification and registration requirements.
• Submission of all MBD forms (1–9) and Annexures A–F; JV agreements if applicable.
• If bid value is expected to exceed R10 million (VAT included), provide audited financial statements for the past three years.
• Municipal rates statements/lease agreements as applicable (including director properties) to confirm rates status.
• All bids must be sealed, clearly marked with SCM Number and Project Name.
• Minimum functionality/qualifications and compliance checks per PPPFA framework (Stage 1 compliance, Stage 2 functionality threshold, Stage 3 price and goals).
