Overview

The Swartland Municipality invites tenders for the supply of asphalting services and ancillary works in the Swartland Municipal Area for the period up to 30 June 2028. Eligible bidders should be CIDB registered in SB class with the required grading, capable of projects in the R20 000 000–R60 000 000 range, and compliant with BBBEE and locality criteria (T52/25/26).

Requirements

• CIDB registration in SB class with grading designation at least equal to that determined for the tender value (R20–R60 million) (T52/25/26).
• Complete Annexure MBD 6.1; provide original or certified B-BBEE Status Level Verification Certificates; provide Proof of Locality (T52/25/26).
• Tender conditions: adherence to General Conditions of Tender and any Special Conditions; bids evaluated under 80/20 or 90/10 preference points; no benefits if the schedule is not thoroughly completed (T52/25/26).
• Documentation and submission basics: sealed envelope, clearly marked, submitted to the Municipal tender box; late or non-compliant tenders will not be accepted; collection and payment details apply (T52/25/26).

• Documents available and collection: from 10 June 2026 after 09:00 at the Offices of the Director: Civil Engineering Services, Swartland Municipality, Malmesbury; non-refundable tender fee of R510 (cash) on collection (T52/25/26).

• Submission deadline and method: must be deposited in the tender box at the Municipal Offices, 1 Kerk Street, Malmesbury, before 12:00 on Friday, 17 July 2026; tenders to be in a sealed envelope marked with the tender title and Tenderer details (T52/25/26).
• Documentation to submit: duly completed tender document, Annexure MBD 6.1, B-BBEE certificate, Proof of Locality, and any other documents specified in the tender data (T52/25/26).
• Briefing/clarifications: there will be no clarification meeting (T52/25/26).
