Overview

Procurement of Executive Leadership Coaching Services for Johannesburg Water’s Executive Management. The RFQ seeks a service provider to coach 8 executives (including the Managing Director) for 12 months, with 1 coaching session per month per executive. Submissions are via the e-tender portal and must be delivered before 16 Sep 2026, 16:00, within JW’s Johannesburg delivery area.

Requirements

• Minimum qualifications and experience
  • Service provider with at least 3 years’ experience in executive leadership coaching in a corporate environment.
  • A panel of at least 5 accredited coaches (ICF or COMENSA), each with at least 3 years’ executive coaching experience.
  • Coaches on the panel must be diverse in race, gender, and primary expertise (e.g., Finance, Legal, HR).
  • Individual coaches must have at least 3 years’ Executive Management experience.
• Methodology and delivery
  • Clear coaching framework or approach aligned to JW requirements.
  • Ability to facilitate assessments to enhance coaching effectiveness.
  • Coaching platforms: in person at Johannesburg Water, in person at provider venue, or virtual.
• Documentation and references
  • Reference letters (on client letterhead, signed, dated).
  • CVs and proof of COMENSA or ICF accreditation for the five coaches; reference letters for each coach.
  • CVs showing Executive Management experience in addition to coaching experience.
• Administrative and compliance
  • Compliance with BOQ/spec; attendance at compulsory briefing (where applicable); PDFs on company letterhead.
  • BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; VAT/Tax compliance; CSD registration; lease or municipal account not older than 3 months.
  • No RFQ from persons in the state; no blacklisted bidders; JV documents if applicable.
  • Acceptance of JW’s Supply Chain Policy.
