SUPPLY OF HEPATITIS B SURFACE & CRYPTOCOCCAL ANTIGEN TESTS

Overview

Supply of Hepatitis B surface antigen tests and cryptococcal antigen tests for Kenya's health program. The open international tender by KEMSA invites health-diagnostics suppliers, manufacturers or distributors with Kenyan representation to bid for delivery of these rapid diagnostic tests under Global Fund financing.

Requirements

• Compliance with PPADA 2015 and Global Fund procurement policies; include anti-corruption declarations and proof not debarred.
• If forming a joint venture, submit a JV agreement or intent with a representative empowered to act for all members.
• If not manufacturing the goods, provide Manufacturer's Authorization; where applicable, local Kenyan representation for warranty/after-sales.
• Foreign bidders must source at least 40% of inputs from Kenyan suppliers; provide evidence in qualification.
• Provide Kenyan tax clearance (KRA) and proof of registration of the goods in Kenya by contract signing.
• Bid security of USD 30,000 or KES 3,870,000 (or equivalent) and compliant tender submission.
• Prepare Form of Tender, Price Schedules, and all supporting documents (including manufacturer authorization, eligibility, and conformity) as required in the tender forms.
