SUPPLY OF MEDICINES FOR OPPORTUNISTIC INFECTIONS (OIs)

Overview

Supply of Medicines for Opportunistic Infections (OIs) to be procured by Kenya Medical Supplies Authority (KEMSA) via an Open International Tender. Eligible bidders are pharmaceutical manufacturers or authorized distributors with relevant licenses, registered in Kenya, and able to supply medicines that meet Kenyan regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Compliance with Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act 2015; anti-corruption declarations; no debarment.
• Eligibility rules including JV constraints, conflict of interest, and foreign bidder requirements (40% of inputs from Kenyan suppliers).
• Tax clearance in Kenya; goods and related services properly registered in Kenya; manufacturer’s authorization if not the manufacturer.
• Bid security of 6,500,000 KES; tender validity and related security requirements as specified in the tender documents.
• Documents to submit: Form of Tender, price schedules, tender security, manufacturer’s authorization, JV agreements if applicable, and other documentary evidence of eligibility and conformity.
