Overview

RFQ for the supply of twenty (20) Network Cameras and training for fifteen (15) individuals on installation of the cameras. The South African Weather Service (SAWS) invites bids from capable suppliers who can provide IP network cameras meeting the attached technical specifications and deliver the associated training. Submissions are electronic, due 31 August 2026 11:00, with a 60-day bid validity period.

Requirements

• Proven ability to supply twenty (20) Network Cameras and provide installation training for 15 people. Refer to Annexure H for technical specs (RFQ-4246b Webcams.pdf 5.pdf..pdf).
• Technical specifications include 4K resolution, IK10 vandal resistance, IP66/67, IR, WDR, and wide viewing angles as listed in Annexure H.
• Compliance and pre-qualification:
  • Tax and SARS compliance (PIN or TCS); CSD as applicable.
  • POPIA consent form (Annexure i) and B-BBEE status documentation (Annexure A/C context).
  • Possible due diligence or SLA requirement (see Annexure A 1.18).
• Returnable/price documentation to be submitted as part of Annexure G (Pricing Schedule Goods) and related annexures (Annexure B, C, F, H, i).
• Purchaser rights include site inspections, reference checks, and SLA provision post-award (Annexure A).

• Submission deadline: 31 August 2026 at 11:00; late bids not considered. Clarifications in writing no later than 2 days before closing. (Attached RFQ Annexure A)
