Overview

The Swellendam Municipality seeks a supplier to provide petrol and diesel fuel for a 3-year period (Buffeljagsrivier). This is an Open-Tender for the delivery of fuels, with bids from suppliers who have an operational fuelling station within Buffeljagsrivier.

Requirements

• Bidders must have an operational fuelling station within Buffeljagsrivier. (SMT32-25-26_Advert.pdf)
• Submit a Tax Compliance Status PIN issued by SARS.
• Obtain tender documents on payment of a non-refundable deposit of R730.00 (Vat Included).
• Tenders must be submitted on the prescribed documents, in a sealed envelope, clearly marked with the tender number and description. Tenders to be placed in the Municipal Tender Box at 11 Lind Street, Swellendam, before 11h00 on 10 July 2026.
• Late, emailed, or faxed tenders will not be considered.
• Bids evaluated under an 80/20 preferential procurement system; the Council may accept part or none of a bid.
• Failure to provide all requested supplementary information may render a tender non-responsive.
• Validity of bids: 90 days from closing date.

• Include the Tax Compliance Status PIN; ensure submission of all requested documents to avoid non-responsiveness.
