Overview

Supply of gabion stones (2400 tons) for the Mzimvubu Water Project – Access Road near Maclear, EC. This Department of Water and Sanitation RFQ (WTE1050CE) targets suppliers capable of delivering gabion stones to Ntabelanga/Mzimvubu site, with a compulsory briefing on 28 September 2026 and a closing date of 2 October 2026 at 11:00. Submissions go to the Mthatha Dam bid box; site delivery is at Ntabelanga Dam/Mzimvubu area, Maclear.

Requirements

• Supply 2400 tons gabion stones; delivery to Ntabelanga Dam site near Maclear, EC.
• Compliance: tax (SARS PIN/TCS), CSD registration; B-BBEE status (certificate or sworn affidavit); annexures for locality (Eastern Cape) and ownership goals.
• Submissions on official forms: SBD 1, SBD 3.1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1; contract to be signed on SBD 7; attendance at compulsory site briefing.
• Estimated bid must reflect delivery to the specified site and adhere to GCC (July 2010) terms.
• Preferences: 80/20 (price/goals) with specific goals for women, disability, youth, local enterprise, and B-BBEE status (Table 1 in the PP form).
