Overview

Supply, packaging and delivery of medals and trophies, sporting and recreational items and other additional items for a period ending 30 June 2029. Bidders should have the capacity to source, package and deliver these items and be able to comply with municipal procurement rules (CSD registration, tax compliance, BBBEE, locality preferences) and contract terms.

Requirements

• Registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) to do business with the municipality.
• Tax compliance: provide SARS Tax Compliance Status (TCS) certificate or PIN; if foreign, complete the pre-award questionnaire; if no TCS but CSD number available, include the CSD number.
• Compulsory clarification meeting attendance is mandatory (28 July 2026, 10:00, Sport Office Boardroom); non-attendance leads to disqualification.
• Tender validity: bids must remain valid for 180 days after closing.
• Preference points: 80/20 pricing/BBBEE/locality; locality 10 points, BBBEE status 10 points, price 80 points.

• Submission method: hard-copy bids in the official tender documents; no late, electronic, telephonic or faxed bids.
• Documents to complete/submit: official Tender Response Documents; MBD forms (MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9, MBD10), Pricing Schedule, Declaration by Tenderer, OHSA Good Standing, Form of Indemnity, and other returnable schedules; where applicable, JV/consortium documentation.
