SUPPLY, STRIP AND REPAIR OF THE RADIO NETWORK, RADIO REPEATERS, MOBILE RADIOS AND PORTABLE RADIOS

Overview

The Mossel Bay Municipality invites bids for the supply, strip and repair of the radio network, radio repeaters, mobile radios and portable radios. The contract covers radio-network equipment maintenance and related components through 30 June 2029. Bidders should have relevant radio-communications expertise, be able to supply and repair the specified radios, and demonstrate authorized service-agent status (OEM authorisations for Hytera/Motorola) as required by the tender documents.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in supply, strip and repair of the radio network, radio repeaters, mobile radios and portable radios with documentary proof (appointment letters, award letters, purchase orders).
• Tax Compliance Status Pin from SARS (and separate pins for joint ventures as applicable).
• CIDB registration number (if applicable) and proof of compliance; registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD).
• Proof of being an authorized radio service agent and OEM authorisations for Hytera/Motorola products.
• Completion of mandatory MBD forms (e.g., MBD1, MBD4, MBD5, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9) and pricing schedule; valid signatory resolutions.
• Letter of Good Standing from the Compensation Commissioner (and separate for each JV member if applicable).

• Submission deadline: 04 December 2026 at 12:00; sealed envelopes delivered to the Mossel Bay Town Hall or posted to P.O. Box 25, Mossel Bay 6500; late, email or fax submissions are not accepted.
• Submission method: hand delivery, courier, or post (no email/fax).
• Documents to submit: completed tender document with Section 5 Declaration, MBD forms, Pricing Schedule (Section 2.2) and any required CIDB/SARS/CSD evidence (see documents in 44-2026-2027 TENDER DOCUMENT.pdf).
• Registrations/pre-qualifications: Central Supplier Database registration; Tax Clearance; CIDB (if applicable); local-activity documentation for locality points; and proof of required authorizations (OEM letters).
