Overview

Removal, disposal and replacement of asbestos roof sheets with corrugated IBR sheets at Jessievale Plantation, including delivery of all works and finishes. Eligible bidders are service providers with asbestos-handling capability and construction capacity (CIDB 1GB or higher), compliant with tax, SANAS/EME-QSE B-BBEE documentation, CSD, COIDA and labour registrations, and capable of meeting local-content and targeted-enterprise requirements.

Requirements

• Fully completed RFQ on company letterhead and e-mailed quotations (RFQ/JESS/711/039/2026).
• Latest Tax Clearance and SANAS-accredited or sworn B-BBEE documentation; CSD (MAAA) registration.
• CIDB Grade 1GB or higher; registration with Department of Labour to handle asbestos; COIDA good standing.
• Two reference letters or completion certificates for similar works; CVs for key personnel.
• ID copies of company directors; proof of payments capacity (bank statement or NCR-funded proof).
• Local-content and transformation targets: 100% local direct employment; 25% women and 25% youth employment; targeted-enterprise subcontracting and monthly reporting.
• Pricing must be in Rand, inclusive of VAT; no compulsory briefing session.

• Delivery and contract: on-site works scoped for 10 village houses; NEC4 ECCS-based contract terms apply with starting date ~2 weeks after contract completion and a 12-week completion window, though some RFQ sections state 1 calendar month for delivery of goods (verify during award).
