Overview

Procurement of supply and delivery of soap powder, face bar, deodorant, buckets, granules, Italian and toilet paper for Johannesburg Water. Open to suppliers registered on CSD, with BBBEE documentation and manufacturer datasheets; quotes to be submitted via the e-tender portal.

Requirements

• Complete the Bill of Quantities/Specifications and attachments; attend compulsory site briefing if applicable.
• Datasheet, reference letters, proof of certification/accreditation, and functionality requirements (where applicable) must be attached. • No quotes from persons in the service of the state; no blacklisted bidders; quotes on company letterhead; total quotation inclusive of all taxes.
• Submit a Joint Venture Agreement if applicable.
• Mandatory documents: Original Tax Clearance, BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, municipal rates statement (not older than 90 days), MBD forms (Declaration of Interest, past SCM practices, Independent Bid Determination), proof of CSD registration, and the Preference Points Claim Form (MBD 6.1).
• Register and bid via the e-tender process; comply with Johannesburg Water’s Supply Chain Policy.

How to Apply

• Submission deadline: 20 July 2026, 12:00; questions/briefings details, if any, are provided in the RFQ.
• Submission method: through the e-tender portal (etenders.gov.za) using CSD credentials; upload compulsory documents and complete the submission checklist.
• Documents to submit (representative list):
  • Original valid Tax Clearance
  • BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit
  • Municipal rates and taxes (not older than 90 days)
  • Signed MBD 4, MBD 8, MBD 9, MBD 6.1
  • CSD registration or supplier number
  • Company registration documents with IDs of directors
  • Datasheets and brand names for all items (manufacture datasheet required)
  • Joint Venture Agreement (if applicable)
• Briefing/site visit: attendance may be compulsory (as applicable per RFQ).
