SUSTAINABILITY OF TRAINING CENTRES: TRAINING VIABILITY ASSESSMENT STUDY

Overview

Sustainability of Training Centres: Training Viability Assessment Study is a consultancy services tender to assess training viability, skills mapping, gap analysis and training facility viability at Eskom power stations. Bidders with proven capabilities in research design, data analysis, evaluation and capacity-building in energy/transition contexts are invited to bid.

Requirements

• 75% minimum functionality threshold for technical evaluation
• Three-section submission: Commercial, Technical, and Objective Criteria & Contractual Requirements
• Tender validity period: 180 days
• Submission via Eskom E-tendering; electronic only; no hard copies
• Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration required; SBD and procurement returnables
• Annexures and documents required (e.g., SBD 1, 6.1, 4; NEC3 PSC; Pricing Schedule; B-BBEE; OHS, SDL&I, SHEQ returns)
• Clarifications/queries and mandatory returnables by deadlines; non-submission deemed non-responsive
• English language for proposal and communications
• Site/operational scope includes Skills Mapping, Gap Analysis and Training Facility Viability at Eskom stations (e.g., Arnot, Camden, Grootvlei, Hendrina, Komati)

How to Apply

• Submission method: Electronic submission via Eskom E-tendering site (no Zip files; documents uploaded in Commercial, Technical, Financial, and Other folders)
• Documents to complete/submit (see Annexures in Commercial Tender Documents.zip): Section 1 Commercial (Pricing Schedule, B-BBEE), Section 2 Technical (Mandatory and Technical returnables), Section 3 Objective Criteria & Contractual Requirements (SDL&I, SHEQ, Contract data, Annual Financial Statements, Pricing data)
• Required registrations/pre-qualifications: CSD number; E-tendering training acknowledgement (Annexure from e-Tender Documents); SBDs; OHS Annexures; SDL&I and Local Content documentation (Annexures E–G)
• Briefing session: Non-compulsory clarification meeting on 16 October 2026, 10:00–13:00 via Microsoft Teams; confirm attendance by 15 October 16:00 with Eskom Representative
