Overview

Construction of sidewalks within Breede Valley Municipality jurisdiction area. This open CWDM tender targets civil contractors with sidewalk/urban roadworks experience and a CIDB contractor grading of 3CE or higher; bidders must be CIDB-registered, and be eligible via CWDM Supplier Database and Central Supplier Database, with required tax and COIDA/safety pre-qualifications. Site inspection is 14 July 2026; closing date 24 July 2026.

Requirements

• CIDB registration 3CE or higher (active at close; joint ventures must meet rules).
• Central Supplier Database registration and tax/compliance (including SARS tax clearance or approved arrangements).
• COIDA good standing letter (or equivalent).
• B-BBEE status verification certificate (or deemed score for JV/consortium) for preference points.
• Returnable documents (Schedules 1–21) completed in black ink, signed, and provided as required.
• Health and safety arrangements and Occupational Health and Safety compliance.
• Locality preference documentation (proof of locality and municipal rate/account where applicable).

• Closing date/time: 11:00 on Friday 24 July 2026 (hard-copy submissions).
• Submission method: sealed envelopes in the CWDM tender box; no electronic submissions allowed (address: 29 Du Toit Street, Stellenbosch).
• Documents to submit: completed Returnable Schedules (Schedule 1–21) as listed in T2.2; MBD forms, CIDB certificate, tax and local documents as specified.
• Pre-qualifications: CWDM Supplier Database, CIDB registration, COIDA, tax status (TCS/CSD), BBBEE, and local locality documentation.
