T 2027/003: ENGLISH, AFRIKAANS AND XHOSA INTERPRETING SERVICES FOR THE PERIOD ENDING 30 JUNE 2030

Overview

CWDM invites bids for English, Afrikaans and IsiXhosa interpreting services for the contract period ending 30 June 2030. Experienced language-service providers with capacity to staff interpreters across the three languages should bid, delivering professional interpreting services to CWDM and meeting contract requirements.

Requirements

• Proven interpreting capability in English, Afrikaans and IsiXhosa.
• Sufficient interpreters and project management capacity to deliver across CWDM.
• Registration on CWDM Supplier Database and Central Supplier Database before closing.
• Complete tender documents in BLACK ink; corrections in BLACK; return original documents.
• Attach authorised signatory resolution (board/partners) authorising signatory.
• B-BBEE status verification certificate (SANAS or IRBA for non-EMEs) or sworn affidavit for EMEs/QSEs; consolidated for JV.
• SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN; tax clearance for all bid participants.
• If contract value > R2.3 million, VAT registration and VAT number on invoices.
• Municipal rates/accounts for bidder/directors; ensure no arrears.
• Site/information meetings (if compulsory) attendance.
• Compliance with GCC/SCC and National Treasury general conditions; PPPFA evaluation.
• Submission of compulsory bid documentation (MBD forms) as listed in the tender documents.

• Submission: sealed envelope with tender number/description to CWDM tender box, 29 Du Toit Street, Stellenbosch; tenders opened publicly after close.
• Documents to submit: official tender form in BLACK ink; signed authorisation; pricing schedule; MBD1, MBD4B, MBD6.1, MBD7.1/7.2, MBD8, MBD9; tax clearance; B-BBEE documentation; SARS tax/pin; municipal rates where applicable.
• Pre-qualifications: register on CWDM Supplier Database and the Central Supplier Database; keep details updated.
• Briefing: attendance at compulsory site/information meetings if specified.
