T 2027/006: SUPPLY, INSTALLATION, COMMISSIONING AND MONITORING OF A VEHICLE TRACKING SYSTEM FOR THE PERIOD ENDING 30 JUNE 2030

Overview

Supply, installation, commissioning and monitoring of a vehicle tracking system for the Cape Winelands District Municipality for the period ending 30 June 2030. Open tender inviting experienced providers of vehicle-tracking hardware and software, installation, commissioning and ongoing monitoring. Bidders should have capabilities in fleet-management systems, GPS/GNSS tracking, hardware installation, software integration and ongoing support, with compliance to municipal SCM rules and B-BBEE requirements.

Requirements

• Registration on CWDM’s Supplier Database and the Central Supplier Database before closing.
• Tax clearance (SARS) and Tax Compliance Pin; municipal rates/account verification as applicable.
• Original B-BBEE Status Level Verification Certificate (or sworn affidavit for EMEs/QSEs) and consolidated certificates for JVs/consortia.
• Completion of tender documents in BLACK ink; return of the complete original; signed authorization/resolution to sign.
• Attendance at compulsory site/information meetings if indicated.
• Compliance with GCC/SCC, relevant standards, and ability to alter/adjust quantities if required.
• No pre-award contact with municipality; proper handling of subcontracting and audit rights.
• Submission of required MBD forms (MBD1, MBD4B, MBD5, MBD6.1, MBD7.1/7.2, MBD8, MBD9) and related documentation as listed in the tender (see TENDER DOCUMENT FINAL.pdf).

• Submission method: separate sealed envelopes placed in the official tender box at 29 Du Toit Street, Stellenbosch; tenders opened in public after closing.
