Overview

SAFCOL invites quotations for Tactical Response Security Services in the White River area (Bergvliet including Witwater and Witklip) for four months. Bidders should have proven tactical security capability, forestry/Lowveld footprint, 24/7 response, and compliance with SA security regulations (PSIRA, licensing, insurance, and related standards).

Requirements

• 24/7 tactical response capability with proven service in forestry/plantations.
• Resource package: 1 x 5-seater (or larger) 4x4 branded response vehicle; 2 x armed Grade C+ officers; 1 x armed Grade B supervisor.
• Weapons and licensing: minimum two rifles/shotguns and three pistols; firearm licence competencies and inspectorate compliance.
• Access to armoured vehicles when required; properly trained personnel with training in crowd control, ground-control, crime prevention.
• Vehicles: 4x4 (5+ seat) dedicated; branding with company logo; vehicle-tracking and digital radio/communication systems.
• Liability and insurance: unlimited liability for property loss/damage under your control; public liability insurance minimum R10 million.
• Capability to forensically investigate unlawful forestry-value-chain entities.
• Travel allowance included; monthly reports and vehicle-tracking reports; management/monitoring system; company communications network capability.
• Random verification of employment contracts/payroll; resources verified on appointment; areas of work specified as White River Bergvliet including Witwater and Witklip.
• Flexibility to redeploy in response to threats; respond to other plantation security needs.
• Compliance with SHEQ (SHEQ, FSC, BOP), legal (PSIRA, security, and related Acts), and labour statutory requirements.

• Returnable documents (from RFQ attachments): fully completed RFQ; official quotation on company letterhead; latest Tax Clearance; latest SANAS-accredited BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit for EME/QSE; CSD report or MAaa number; Supplier Code of Conduct; completed and signed NEC4 contract documents; all other supporting documents.
• Pre-qualifications: confirm CSD registration, tax compliance, and B-BBEE as applicable.
• Document reference: RFQ details and terms are in the attached RFQ document (RFQ 890/RSK/04/2026). Document pack includes NEC4 Term Service Short Contract and related schedules.
• If not attached, bid documents are requested via the RFQ and must be submitted as part of the quotation.
