Overview

Procurement of a temporary Creditors Payments team lead to manage SAMRC's creditors payments function. This is suitable for experienced financial professionals/consultants with qualifications in accounting and public finance management, available to commence immediately for a 3-month term with a possible 2-month extension.

Requirements

• Minimum qualification: BCom or BCompt (3-year)
• Experience: minimum 5 years financial management and supervision; recent hands-on VAT return and computation experience (min 5 years)
• Systems: hands-on accounting package experience, preferably JD Edwards; Excel proficiency
• Knowledge: Public Finance Management Act, National Treasury Regulations, VAT, GRAP, and Supply Chain Management Act
• Grade: Patterson level D1
• Term: appointment for 3 months with option to extend for 2 months; commencement immediately
