Overview

The uMgungundlovu District Municipality seeks the supply, rental and maintenance of printers for a 36-month period, including a modern, secure, enterprise‑grade printing environment with central management and Microsoft 365/Universal Print integration. Bidders should have government sector printing experience, demonstrate three references with min R500k each in the last 5 years, and provide qualified key personnel.

Requirements

• Three written references from government entities (min R500k each) in the last 5 years.
• Simplified CVs for key personnel; demonstrate capability for a full rental/maintenance contract.
• Functionality scoring: minimum 60/100 to proceed to price/PPPFA evaluation.
• Binding tender documents, properly sealed; submission in the official tender box.
• Tax/compliance: SARS Tax Compliance Status (TCS/PIN) or CSD registration; proof required.
• Municipal good standing: proof not in arrears beyond 90 days (or approved alternative).
• Joint ventures/sub-contractors: full documentation and party-specific TCS/CSD evidence.
• 80/20 preference framework; specific goals (race and locality) may apply.
