Overview

The Narok County Government is disposing boarded assets (vehicles, machinery and equipment) via an open tender; eligible bidders such as individuals or companies with ability to pay deposits and collect AS-IS assets should bid. Items are sold as they are, without encumbrances.

Requirements

• Eligibility: open to qualified tenderers; not engaging in corrupt practices; Kenyan tax compliance certificate.
• Documentation: copy of registration/incorporation or valid national ID; complete Form of Tender; Confidential Business Questionnaire; Self-Declaration Forms SD1/SD2; Declaration of ethics; pagination of documents; evidence of tender deposit.
• Item data: complete Schedule of Items and Prices; 2% of the reserve price as deposit per item; deposit receipts attached.
• Financials: prices in Kenya Shillings; fixed during tender validity.
• Viewing: inspect items 0900–1500; sale “AS WHERE IT IS AND THE CONDITION IT IS IN.”
• Payment & collection: for awarded items, pay balance within 14–21 days; collect within 14 days of payment; storage charges for undispatched items.
• Deposit details: deposits to Narok County Government account at KCB Narok Town (Account 1140091263).

How to Apply

• Viewing the items: 0900–1500 at the Supply Chain Management Office, Narok County Government, Mau Narok Road.
• Obtain documents: from the Supply Chain Management Office; contact procurement@narok.go.ke (document notes “Tender Document”).
• Prepare submissions: Form of Tender, Confidential Business Questionnaire, SD1/SD2, Ethics Declaration, Schedule of Items and Prices, Tender Deposit Commitment; arrange pagination.
• Deposit: pay per item into the Narok County Government deposit account (bank slip) and attach copies with tender.
• Submission: hand-deliver sealed tender packages to the Supply Chain Management Office, Narok; no electronic submissions.
• Deadline: 22-09-2026 at 11:00 AM (physical submission); tender opening immediately after deadline in Narok boardroom (public). If extended, notice will follow.
• After opening: tenders evaluated for eligibility and responsiveness; highest responsive bid subject to reserve price; unsuccessful deposits refunded within 14 days of award notification.
