Tender for the proposed equipping of Malewa West Vocational Training Centre, fencing and installation of a gate at Malewa West Vocational Training Centre, Gilgil Sub‑County. Requirements

• Open to all bidders; comply with Public Procurement rules and anti‑corruption/collusion provisions.
• Tender security: KSh 30,000 (form: bank guarantee, insurer’s guarantee, or other listed methods).
• National Construction Authority (NCA) registration required before contract award.
• Tax clearance certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority.
• Foreign bidders: at least 40% of contract inputs sourced from Kenyan suppliers (evidence required).
• Joint ventures may be allowed; if so, joint venture agreement or letter of intent required; all members jointly liable.
• Disclosure of ownership/control and avoidance of conflicts of interest; compliance with relevant competition and debarment rules.
• Tenders must be serialized, submitted in sealed envelopes, and include Form of Tender, priced schedules, Tender Security, and all other documents per the Tender Document.

• Submission method: sealed Tender in a plain envelope, deposited in the Tender box at Moi Road, County Government Headquarters (Ground Floor) or as otherwise directed in the tender documents.
• Documents to complete/submit: Form of Tender; priced Bill of Quantities; Tender Security or Tender-Securing Declaration; Joint Venture documents if applicable; qualifications/conformity documents; technical proposal and any other documents listed in Section IV.
• Registrations/pre‑qualifications: NCA Registration; Tax Clearance; compliance with PPRA and related statutes.
• Site/briefing: Site visit encouraged; pre-tender meeting details (if any) will be as stated in the Tender Data/Procurement Documents.
• Bid documents access: Electronic copies available free from the County Government of Nakuru website and tenders portals (supplier.treasury.go.ke; tenders.go.ke) if not attached.
