Overview

Narok County Government invites sealed bids for the supply, delivery and commissioning of fire fighting vehicles (6000 ltrs) and rapid response vehicles (900 ltrs). Bidders should have relevant experience in heavy vehicles or firefighting equipment, and be prepared to meet Kenyan public-procurement requirements (including tax clearance, Manufacturer’s Authorization if not the manufacturer, and bid security of KSh 2,000,000).

Requirements

• Open National Tender; eligible tenderers, including joint ventures (any number of members allowed).
• No public officers’ involvement; no conflicting interests; avoid collusive or fraudulent practices.
• Evidence of eligibility and qualifications; Manufacturer’s Authorization if not manufacturing the goods; tax clearance (Kenya).
• Debarment check against PPRA list; compliance with Kenya Competition Act as applicable.
• Tender security of Kenya Shillings 2,000,000; validity 30 days beyond tender validity.
• Goods must conform to specifications; evidence of origin and compliance; spare parts list; items to be sourced from Kenya; Kenya-assembled/produced where required.
• Provide joint venture agreement if applicable; notarized power of attorney for signing.
• Tender prices in Kenya Shillings; fixed price unless the TDS allows adjustment; 180-day tender validity.
• Documents to support eligibility, conformity, and technical specifications (as per Section III and VII).

• Submission method: manual, sealed envelopes in the Tender Box at Narok County Headquarters ground floor; do not submit electronically.
