Overview

Procurement of preventive maintenance services for five standby generators, their changeover switches, spare parts and emergency services at CBK-IMS Mombasa and Kisumu branches for three years. Open national tender; suitable for electrical/mechanical maintenance providers with generator service capability, appropriate registrations, and tax compliance.

Requirements

• Eligibility, qualifications and integrity requirements per Section III; JV allowed with joint liability; no conflicts of interest; anti-corruption declarations.
• Foreign bidders: must show at least 40% local content; provide evidence in tender.
• Documentation: Form of Tender, tender security, joint venture documents (if applicable), evidence of qualifications and eligibility, tax compliance certificate (Kenya), conformity to tender, and any other documents listed in the TDS.
• Minimum declarations: independent tender determination, code of ethics, fraud/corruption appendix; ability to allow entity audits of records.
• Other: site visit and pre-tender meeting details (if any) to be specified in the TDS; clarifications in writing by deadlines; standstill and award procedures as per the ITT.

• Deadlines: Closing on 26 August 2026 at 10:30 A.M. (as per TENDER DOCUMENT; Tender Notice lists the same date/time). Questions/clarifications timing to be per the TDS.
• Submission method: sealed envelopes, plain outer envelope with tender reference; deposit in Green Tender Box No. 3, CBK main entrance; electronic submissions not permitted (TENDER NOTICE; ITT).
• Documents to complete/submit: Form of Tender, Activity Schedule, Tender Security, eligibility and qualification forms, JV documents if any, tax compliance certificate, and any other documents required in Section IV/V.
