TENDER FOR PROVISION OF STATUTORY INSPECTION SERVICES OF PASSENGER AND GOODS LIFTS AND LIFTING EQUIPMENT FOR CENTRAL BANK OF KENYA FOR A PERIOD OF ONE YEAR

Overview

Provision of statutory inspection services for passenger and goods lifts and lifting equipment at the Central Bank of Kenya for three years. The National Open Tender is open to qualified bidders; foreign bidders may participate subject to country eligibility rules and local-content requirements. Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in statutory inspection/maintenance of passenger and goods lifts and lifting equipment and ability to meet Section VII requirements.
• Compliance with Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act, 2015; include Certificate of Independent Tender Determination and Code of Ethics declarations; no debarment; no conflict of interest.
• Eligibility: JV arrangements allowed with liability and representative; foreign tenderers must source at least 40% of inputs locally.
• Tender documentation: complete Form of Tender, Tender Security, JV agreements if applicable, and all qualification documents (Section IV/Section III).
• Financial: bid in Kenyan Shillings; tax compliance as evidence of tax obligations; and assessment of any financial qualifications per the ITT.
• Performance-related: adhere to standards and provide evidence of conformity to the tender’s technical specifications.

How to Apply

• Deadline: 11 November 2026 at 10:30 A.M. East African Time (closing date/time) (TDS/Tender Notice).
• Submission method: physical submission in sealed envelopes to the Green Tender Box No. 3 at the Central Bank of Kenya, Haile Selassie Avenue; electronic submissions are not allowed (TDS/ITT 24-25).
• Documents to complete/submit: Form of Tender and Schedule, Tender Security (and other Tendering Forms in Section IV), Joint Venture documentation if applicable, and conformity/evidence documents (Section VII).
• Registrations/prequalifications: Tax Compliance Certificate; evidence of local-content (40% for foreign bidders) as required; eligibility checks and anti-corruption declarations (TDS/ITT 3-4, Section III).
