Overview

Procurement of a panel of contractors to execute capital projects on an “as and when required” basis from appointment until 30 June 2029 (George Municipality). Bidders must be CIDB-registered (preferably 2EP/3EP/4EP or higher) and DoEL-registered Electrical Contractors; a Site Supervisor with an ORHVS certificate and 5 years’ experience is required. A compulsory briefing and a site visit are scheduled.

Requirements

• CIDB registration: minimum 2EP/3EP/4EP or higher; capacity to tender within threshold.
• Site Supervisor: Qualified Electrician/Linesman with valid ORHVS certificate, 5+ years experience; provide ID, qualifications, CV, ORHVS certificate.
• Electrical contractor registration: DoEL registration valid for the contract duration.
• Functionality: minimum 90/120 points (Experience 60, Plant 40, Key Staff 20).
• Compliance: valid Tax Compliance PIN; CIDB/DoEL evidence; BBBEE certificate; COIDA; Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration; antitrust/conflict declarations.
• Returnable documents: Part T2 and all forms (MBD 1,4,5,6.1,8,9,15) plus Form 2.1.x schedules; original and copies as required.
• Site: attendance at compulsory briefing; non-attendance disqualifies.
• Panel terms: up to five contractors may be appointed; work allocated via RFQs/Packages; pricing at tendered rates.
