Open national tender for the proposed installation of culverts and drainages at Muwa Estate, Lanet Umoja Ward, Nakuru County. Eligible bidders are qualified civil-works contractors with experience in drainage works and culvert installation (open to all bidders).

Requirements

• Tender security of 50,000 Kenyan Shillings.
• Compliance with Public Procurement rules, and completion of required certifications (including a Certificate of Independent Tender Determination).
• Pre-qualification: eligibility, nationality, tax clearance, and potential foreign-ownership rules (Foreign tenderers must source at least 40% of inputs locally).
• National Construction Authority registration required before contract signature.
• JV rules apply (if any), with joint liability and a nominated representative.
• Site visit inspection at the Tenderer’s cost; adherence to attendance and documentation as per the tender instructions.

How to Apply

• Obtain tender documents online for free from www.nakuru.go.ke, supplier.treasury.go.ke, or www.tenders.go.ke. Submit both hard copies and a soft copy. (see Invitation to Tender)
• Submission deadline: 19 October 2026, at 10:00 AM local time. Late submissions will be rejected.
• Submit to The County Secretary, County Government of Nakuru, Moi Road, Nakuru; in sealed envelopes marked with tender number and description.
• Include: Form of Tender, priced Bill of Quantities, Tender Security or Declaration, Joint Venture agreement if applicable, Qualifications, Conformity (technical proposal), and any other documents required in the Tender Data Sheet.
