Requirements

• Open to all bidders; comply with public procurement laws; provide Certificate of Independent Tender Determination; no conflicts of interest.
• JV may participate; if so, joint and several liability and a designated representative are required.
• Tender security: Kenya shillings 30,000 (bank guarantee or IRD/insurance guarantee acceptable forms).
• Tender validity: 210 days from tender opening.
• Currency: Kenya Shillings; prices must include all taxes.
• Eligibility: tax clearance; National Construction Authority registration prior to contract award (not a tender condition, but required before signing).
• Foreign bidders: at least 40% of inputs sourced from Kenyan suppliers; evidence to be provided if applicable.
