Overview

The County Government of Nakuru invites open national tenders for the supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of Biometric Kits. This is open to all qualified bidders capable of providing biometric hardware and related installation/commissioning services (and supporting maintenance).

Requirements

• Open to all bidders; not debarred; compliance with anti-corruption/fraud provisions; and, where applicable, Joint Venture arrangements with defined liability.
• Tax clearance certificate required to demonstrate tax compliance.
• If not manufacturing the goods, provide Manufacturer's Authorization; if not based in Kenya, confirm local representation/agent capability.
• Evidence of qualifications per Section III (e.g., JV arrangements, non-conflict, independence from consultants involved in design).
• Tender security (as specified in the TDS): e.g., Kshs 20,000 (form of security as allowed); must be valid through tender validity.
• Tender validity period: 210 days (from opening date).
• Documentation: Form of Tender, Price Schedules, Tender Security or Tender-Securing Declaration, JV agreements (or letter of intent), manufacturer authorization, and eligibility/conformity evidence.
• For JVs: joint and several liability; JV agreement or letter of intent to execute.

How to Apply

• Prepare and submit:
  • Form of Tender and Price Schedules, signed; Tender Security or Tender-Securing Declaration; Manufacturer Authorization (if required); JV documents if applicable; tax clearance evidence; eligibility/conformity documentation.
  • Serialise all pages of the tender document.
  • Submit in soft copy (via supplier portal) and hard copies in a plain sealed envelope to the Tender Box.
