Tender for the supply of empty medical waste containers, the removal, treatment and safe disposal of medical waste, as and when required over a three-year period. Open tender issued by the City of Tshwane. Preference: 80/20. Suitable bidders include providers of medical waste containment, hazardous waste handling, and related disposal services.

Requirements

• 80/20 preferential point system applicability.
• Electronic submission via SAP Ariba; plus one supplementary hard copy to be deposited as exact copy of the electronic submission.
• Hard copy submission deposited in the tender box at Tshwane House, 320 Madiba Street, Pretoria CBD.
• Service providers must register on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSDB) in line with Circular 81.
• Tender documents remain valid for 90 days after closing date.
• Documents may be downloaded from SAP Ariba, the City’s website and ETenders.

How to Apply

• Access bid documents and respond via the SAP Ariba portal (HD 03-2026/27). Documents are downloadable from SAP Ariba, the City of Tshwane site and etenders.gov.za. (see attached Notice 6 of 2026/27 (003).pdf)
• Submit electronically by the closing date/time and deposit one exact hard copy at Tshwane House as supplementary to the electronic submission.
• Pre-qualifications: register on CSDB (Circular 81).
• Closing time: 30 November 2026 at 08:00 (see Notice 6 of 2026/27 (003).pdf) with a 90-day bid validity.
