Overview

Upgrade of the Jet-A1 Fuel Hydrant Emergency Shutdown System at OR Tambo International Airport for a 12-month period. This construction tender is open to CIDB contractors with a 6EP or higher designation (or joint ventures led by a 6EP+ partner). Bidders must be CIDB-registered, or capable of registration before evaluation, and have relevant experience with aviation fuel hydrant systems. The contract follows NEC3 ECC3 terms and includes safety, health, and environmental provisions.

Requirements

• CIDB contractor grading designation of 6EP or higher, or a joint venture with the lead partner meeting 6EP+.
• CIDB registration/ability to be registered prior to evaluation.
• SARS tax compliance: Tax Compliance Status (TCS PIN) or Central Supplier Database (CSD) number for each entity (and for each JV member).
• Completion and submission of required tender documents (Form of Offer and Acceptance, Schedule of Deviations if any, pricing schedules) with original and copy, plus electronic copy as applicable.
• Insurance and performance security: 20% performance bond and 5% retention; corporate/contractor insurances as specified.
• Attendance at pre-bid events: non-compulsory briefing and non-compulsory site inspection; attendance recorded.

• Submission: deposits must be placed in Tender Box B, ACSA North Wings Offices, OR Tambo International Airport; sealed in separate Original and Copy packages, plus USB copy; include bid documents and pricing schedules; closing date: 7 August 2026 at 10:00.
• Bid validity: 12 weeks from Closing Date.
