RE-ADVERT: Appointment of up to three service providers to the panel for supply, delivery and off-loading of electrical cables as and when required for a period of 36 months. The Steve Tshwete Local Municipality seeks electrical cable suppliers/distributors and logistics providers to form a panel to supply, deliver and off-load cables as required, subject to CSD registration and compliance with municipal SCM and preferential procurement policies.

Requirements

• Must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD).
• Must comply with Steve Tshwete SCM policies and Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act; disclosures as per tender documents.
• Annexure A (compulsory):
  • Copy of company registration certificate (CK)
  • Copy of tax compliance status PIN (non-compulsory)
  • Copy of current municipal account not in arrears for 3 months or lease agreement (compulsory)
  • Full CSD report (non-compulsory)
  • Joint Venture Agreement (compulsory) and JV registered on CSD (compulsory)
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance (compulsory)
  • Annual financial statements for past 3 years (compulsory)
  • All forms completed in full (compulsory)
• Disqualifiers: not registered on CSD; in the service of the state; if a non-natural person, any director/stakeholder in service of the state; not an advisor/consultant contracted with the municipality.
• Evaluation: 70 points for functionality; 80 points for price; 20 points for specific goals (MBD 6.1).
• Tender validity: 90 days.
