Overview

Provision of wide area network (WAN) services with Internet access for 36 months to connect the CGE head office and branches across nine provinces. Bidders should have SD-WAN/MPLS expertise, a demonstrated 10+ years in networking, and be able to meet CGE’s SCM/BBEE and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Fully outsourced, managed SD-WAN with MPLS; any-to-any branch connectivity; head office ≥200 Mbps; provincial offices ≥100 Mbps per province; uncapped Internet; traffic prioritisation; central management dashboard; 24/7 support across nine provinces.
• Technical and corporate qualifications: minimum 10 years’ experience; 3 verifiable testimonials; latest audited financial statements; evidence of 9-province footprint.
• Compliance: registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD); VAT registration and tax clearance; adherence to CGE SCM Policy and Abuse Policy; complete mandatory CGE tender documents (e.g., pricing schedule, SBD forms, Annexures).
• Pricing: firm prices in ZAR (VAT included); price validity 120 days; Annexure 4 price adjustments if applicable.
• Evaluation: functionality must meet minimum thresholds; BBBEE preferences apply (PPPFA 2022 80/20 framework).
