Requirements

• Registration on National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD).
• SARS tax clearance; verify status via CSD.
• Complete all applicable MBD forms.
• Provide a copy of the most recent municipal account or proof of municipal services; if tenant, landlord letter or ward councillor affidavit for non-arrears or exemption.
• Prices must be firm and inclusive of VAT; tender validity 90 days.
• Comply with Regulation 27(2) of the SCM Regulations (brand names or equivalents).
• Tenderer to be screened against National Treasury Defaulters Database.
• For tenders > R4m, subcontract 30% to an EME or QSE (at least 51% black-owned) within KwaDukuza jurisdiction; JV with BBBEE allowed.
• Canvassing is prohibited; no bids from current organ of state personnel.
