Overview

Appointment of a service provider for procurement of social relief items for a 36-month period, for RBIDZ. Eligible bidders are EMEs with a B-BBEE Level 1 status.

Requirements

• Pre-qualification: EMEs with B-BBEE Level 1.
• Tender fee: R500 non-refundable; pay into Absa account (Branch 632005, 4072219190); proof of payment to tenders@rbidz.co.za.
• Submission: Sealed tender, deposited in the official Tender box at RBIDZ, 4 Harbour Arterial, Alton, Richards Bay, by 12:00 on 24 July 2026; tenders opened in public.
• Evaluation: Compliance assessment, functionality, then price and preference (80/20); minimum 65% functionality to progress.
• Pre-qualifications: Tenderers must meet preferential procurement criteria (EME and B-BBEE Level 1).
• Miscellaneous: RBIDZ may accept any tender or part thereof; no queries after 17 July 2026; telegraphic/late tenders not accepted.
• Documents: Tender documents available 29 June 2026 to 17 July 2026 and emailed upon indication of interest and payment (Tender Document).

How to Apply

• Indicate interest to receive tender documents; documents available 29 June 2026 to 17 July 2026 and emailed after payment.
• Pay non-refundable R500 tender fee to the specified Absa account; email proof of payment to tenders@rbidz.co.za.
• Receive tender documents by email (Tender Document) and complete in accordance with attached conditions.
• Submit sealed tender by 12:00 on 24 July 2026 to the RBIDZ Tender Box at the RBIDZ Complex, 4 Harbour Arterial, Alton, Richards Bay.
• Tenders will be evaluated first on compliance and functionality (min 65%), then price and preference (80/20); RBIDZ reserves the right to appoint theTenderer that best meets its requirements.
