Overview

Sale of scrapped vehicles: PetroSA offers several scrapped vehicles for sale from its Mossel Bay premises. Bidders may inspect before tendering; bids are evaluated per lot with the highest qualifying bid winning each lot. Items are sold on an “as is, where is” basis (voetstoots) with no warranty. Requirements

• Tender must be submitted for each lot separately; awards are per lot (highest qualifying bid).
• Tender sale subject to acceptance by PetroSA board or Executive Procurement Committee.
• Bids valid for 60 days from closing date.
• Goods offered can be in any combination (single lot to full package).
• Purchaser must lift within 30 days of acceptance; delays incur rent and a 1% weekly late-fee.
• Material sold “as is, where is” with no guarantees; on-site inspection advised; compliance with the Consumer Protection Act.
• PetroSA reserves rights to withdraw items or reject bids, and to cancel/postpone without explanation.
• Environmental compliance in handling removal/disposal.
