Overview

Tenders are invited for the appointment of a panel of training service providers to conduct technical, engineering and operational skills (functional) training programmes and workshops for Mogale City Local Municipality employees on an as-and-when-required basis for a three-year period. Bidders should have capabilities in technical/engineering/operational training delivery and be prepared to operate on a panel-on-demand basis. Compulsory briefing session: 24 August 2026 at 10:00, Mayoral Chamber, Krugersdorp (no virtual session).

Requirements

• Functionality evaluation: total 65 points with a minimum of 36 points to qualify.
• Adjudication: 80/20 preference (80 for price, 20 for specific goals) per PPPFA 2022.
• Mandatory documents: MBD1, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9; documents must be original Mogale City forms.
• Compliance/registrations: CSD registration (or provide CSD number); Municipal Rates/Taxes or valid lease/rental in the entity’s name; Tax compliance status (PIN/TCS) and SARS e-filing readiness; where applicable, TCS certificate or sworn affidavit.
• Foreign bidders: complete Part B:3 questionnaire; provide TCS/CSD as required.
• B-BBEE: provide B-BBEE status or sworn affidavit; non-compliance may affect preference points.
• Briefing attendance: mandatory attendance with signed register.
• Other: 2% Corporate Social Responsibility contribution for non-Mogale-based providers; VAT considerations; bids must be on official forms and be submitted in ink (no electronic signatures).

• Submission method: hand-deliver/bid box at Mogale City Civic Centre, corner Commissioner & Market Streets, Krugersdorp 1740 (bids deposited in the SCM bid box; no electronic submission).
• Documents to submit: MBD1, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9; CSD or Municipal Rates/Lease/Rental proofs; CSR declaration; B-BBEE documentation; Tax/Registration documentation; signed briefing attendance register.
• Pre-qualifications: CSD registration; TCS/PIN for tax; VAT registration if applicable; foreign bidders must complete Part B:3.
